Der Islamwissenschaftler und Philosoph lebt in der Schweiz und übersetzte mehr als 100 belletristische Werke, darunter weltberühmte Autor:innen wie Alaa al-Aswani, Emil Habibi, Sahar Khalifa und Nagib Machfus. The Islamic scholar and philosopher lives in Switzerland and has translated more than 100 works of fiction, including world-famous authors such as Alaa al-Aswani, Emil Habibi, Sahar Khalifa and Nagib Mahfouz. The conversation explains the problems and background of the rarely publicized work of translators from Arab culture.
